The Monds Experience

Lead barber, Joe Monds is a native Rochesterian. He grew up on the city’s west side, but during his junior year, his mother realized that he needed a change of environment so she moved him to the east side to live with his grandmother. Subsequently, he graduated from East High School and earned two criminal justice degrees, one from Monroe Community College and the other from Buffalo State College. He started his hair-cutting career in 1991. He would cut the hair of just about every foster child that was taken in, subsequently, he took his talents to campus living. Fast forward to the present, and he is now a professional licensed master barber.

He has a strong commitment to continue being a contributing member to the city of Rochester while offering excellent hair grooming services through the integrity of The Monds Experience Barbershop.
